Job Description:
  1. Student Guidance & Counseling
    • Provide academic advice to students regarding course selection, career planning, and educational goals.
    • Assist students in understanding university policies, requirements, and academic expectations.
    • Address students’ concerns related to academic performance, stress, and time management.
  2. Career Counselling & Development
    • Guide students in choosing the right career path based on their interests, strengths, and market trends.
    • Organize career counseling sessions, workshops, and job placement support.
  3. Monitoring & Student Progress
    • Track students’ academic performance and provide interventions when necessary.
    • Develop personalized academic plans to help students achieve their educational objectives.
  4. Collaboration with Faculty & Administration
    • Work closely with teachers, professors, and school/university administration to enhance student support services.
    • Facilitate communication between students and faculty regarding academic concerns.
  5. Workshops & Seminars
    • Conduct orientation programs, workshops, and seminars on academic success strategies.
    • Provide training on study skills, test preparation, and career development.
  6. Psychosocial Support
    • Identify students facing personal, social, or academic challenges and provide appropriate support or referrals to psychologists or support groups.
  7. Record-Keeping & Documentation
    • Maintain records of student interactions, academic plans, and counseling sessions.
    • Prepare reports and provide feedback to the institution on student progress and needs.


Responsibilities and Duties:

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Psychology, Education, Counseling, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in academic counseling, student affairs, or educational guidance is preferred
  • Key Skills Required:

  • Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills.
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
  • Knowledge of academic programs, career paths, and industry trends.
  • Proficiency in using counseling tools, databases, and educational software
