Account and Finance Officer
Job Description:

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) are a plus.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in accounting or finance, or related field.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, or similar tools).
    • Strong knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.

 

Responsibilities and Duties:

Key Responsibilities:

1.      Financial Management:

  • Maintain and update financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledgers.
  • Ensure timely processing of invoices, payroll, and vendor payments.
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.

2.      Budgeting & Forecasting:

  • Assist in preparing annual budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Monitor expenses and revenue, providing regular financial analysis to management.

3.      Compliance & Reporting:

  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, financial reporting standards, and company policies.
  • Prepare and submit tax returns (e.g., VAT, GST, TDS, etc.) in a timely manner.
  • Generate periodic financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.

4.      Client Accounts Management:

  • Manage client billing processes and resolve payment-related issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of client accounts and ensure timely collection of fees.

5.      Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for improving financial processes and implement best practices.
  • Support the implementation of accounting systems and tools for enhanced efficiency.
