Account Assistant - Teku

Job Description:
  •  Prepare and issue sales invoices to customers/parties accurately and on time. 
  •  Verify customer details, products, quantities, rates, discounts, taxes and other billing information before issuing invoices. 
  •  Record sales, purchases, receipts, payments, journal entries and other day-to-day transactions in Tally. 
  •  Maintain accurate customer and supplier ledgers and ensure all accounting entries are properly supported by documents. 
  •  Coordinate with sales, warehouse and dispatch/delivery staff for invoices, delivery documents and billing requirements. 
  •  Maintain party-wise receivable and payable records and assist management in monitoring outstanding balances. 
  •  Assist with bank, customer and supplier ledger reconciliation and identify discrepancies for timely correction. 
  •  Maintain systematic filing and record-keeping of invoices, bills, receipts, vouchers and other accounting documents.
  •  Prepare basic monthly accounting summaries and reports as required by management/CFO. 
  •  Ensure accounting and billing records are updated regularly and maintained with accuracy and confidentiality. 
  •  Perform other accounts and administrative duties reasonably assigned by management. 
Specification:
  • Minimum 2 years of practical experience in accounting, billing or a similar Accounts role. 
  •  Hands-on working knowledge of Tally/Tally Prime is essential.
  •  Good working knowledge of MS Excel and basic office applications. 
  •  Practical knowledge of sales invoicing, ledger maintenance and day-to-day accounting entries. 
  •  Basic understanding of VAT, tax invoices and accounting documentation.
  •   Strong numerical accuracy, attention to detail and organizational skills. 
  •  Ability to coordinate effectively with sales, warehouse and dispatch/delivery teams.
  •   Ability to work independently, take ownership of routine accounting work and meet deadlines. 
  •  Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
