Job Description:

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, cash collections, online payments, and cheque transactions.
• Prepare and maintain accurate bank reconciliation statements for all company bank accounts.
• Investigate and resolve unmatched, duplicate, outstanding, or failed transactions in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with banks, payment partners, branches, and internal departments to resolve reconciliation discrepancies.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with cash collection and end-of-day (EOD) submission procedures across branches.
• Track cheque clearance status, maintain custody records, and follow up on outstanding or stale cheques.
• Prepare reconciliation reports, schedules, and summaries for management review and decision-making.
• Maintain proper documentation and reconciliation workpapers to ensure audit readiness.
• Provide required reports and supporting documents during internal and external audits.
• Ensure adherence to Finance Department SOPs, internal controls, and organizational policies.

Specification:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in finance, accounting, or reconciliation functions.
• Proficiency in MS Excel is mandatory.
• Basic knowledge of accounting software/ERP systems (NAV/Tally preferred).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High level of accuracy with strong attention to detail.
• Good communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Knowledge of banking operations, payment systems, and reconciliation processes will be an added advantage.
