Job Description:

• Assist in maintaining books of accounts (cash, bank, ledger).
• Record daily financial transactions accurately.
• Prepare and process invoices, bills, and vouchers.
• Handle petty cash and expense records.
• Assist in bank reconciliation and statement verification.
• Support in accounts payable and receivable follow-ups.
• Help in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Assist during audits and provide required documentation.
• Ensure proper filing of financial documents.
• Coordinate with vendors, customers, and internal departments.
• Support senior accountant in tax, VAT, and statutory compliance work.

Specification:

• Basic knowledge of accounting principles
• Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Tally, Busy, ERP, or similar)
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office
• Understanding of VAT, TDS, and basic taxation
• Ability to maintain accurate records and attention to detail
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Time management and ability to meet deadlines
