Job Description:
- Accurately dispense prescribed medications in accordance with regulatory standards
- Evaluate prescriptions to ensure appropriate dosage, therapeutic suitability, and to identify potential drug interactions
- Provide clear and comprehensive counseling to patients on medication usage, precautions, and possible adverse effects
- Recommend appropriate over-the-counter medications based on patient needs and clinical judgment
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient medication records
- Ensure proper storage, handling, and inventory management of pharmaceutical products
- Adhere to all legal, regulatory, and ethical standards governing pharmacy practice
- Collaborate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
Specification:
- Bachelor’s or Doctorate degree in Pharmacy (PharmD, or equivalent) with valid professional licensure.
- Relevant experience in community, hospital, or clinical pharmacy practice
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology, medication therapy management, and prescription evaluation
- Effective communication and patient counseling skills.
- Proficiency in pharmacy management systems and medical record keeping.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ethical, responsible, and professional with a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and collaborate within healthcare teams.
