Job Description:
  • Generate sales by visiting retail shops, wholesalers, distributors, and modern trade outlets.
  • Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly FMCG sales targets.
  • Ensure product availability, visibility, and display in assigned markets.
  • Increase product penetration in retail, wholesale, and semi-urban markets.
  • Expand the distribution network by identifying new retailers and potential dealers.
  • Take daily orders from retailers and ensure timely delivery through distribution partners.
  • Monitor stock levels at distributor points and coordinate replenishment.
  • Track competitor products, pricing, schemes, and promotional activities.
  • Execute trade promotions, display drives, sampling activities, and consumer schemes.
  • Build strong relationships with retailers, wholesalers, and distribution partners.
  • Resolve customer queries, complaints, and product issues promptly.
  • Submit daily market visit reports, order details, and sales activities.
  • Maintain proper records of route plans, beat plans, and visit frequency.
  • Provide insights on market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor movement.
  • Coordinate with logistics, accounts, and warehouse teams for smooth operations.
  • Ensure compliance with company sales policies, branding guidelines, and market standards.
Specification:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Management, BBS/BBA/BIM preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of field sales experience in FMCG category.
  • Strong understanding of retail/wholesale structure and distribution channels.
  • Ability to follow beat plans, route mapping, and outlet classification.
  • Good communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict sales targets.
  • Strong knowledge of competitor brands and FMCG market trends.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and mobile reporting applications.
  • Must have a valid two-wheeler license and willingness for daily field travel.
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, and result-oriented.
  • Presentable and able to maintain professional relationships in the market.
