Job Description:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance backend applications using Python and FastAPI. 
•  Build, maintain, and optimize RESTful APIs with proper validation, error handling, pagination, filtering, and consistent response structures. 
•  Develop and manage PostgreSQL databases, including schema design, migrations, query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning. 
•  Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions. 
•  Implement asynchronous programming concepts and make appropriate decisions between synchronous and asynchronous processing in production systems. 
•  Design and implement middleware for authentication, logging, tracing, monitoring, and other cross-cutting concerns. 
•  Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-documented code while following coding standards and best practices. 
•  Participate actively in code reviews, technical discussions, system architecture planning, and software design decisions. 
•  Develop and maintain containerized applications using Docker and Docker Compose for development and production environments. 
•  Support application deployment, CI/CD processes, release management, and ensure smooth production deployments with minimal downtime. 
•  Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, debug production problems, and implement performance improvements. 
•  Mentor junior developers, share technical knowledge, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the development team.

Specification:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 
•  Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Python backend development with hands-on experience in production-level projects. 
•  Strong proficiency in Python and extensive experience with FastAPI, Django, or Flask frameworks. 
•  Solid understanding of REST API design principles, API security, validation, and error handling. 
•  Strong experience with PostgreSQL, database design, SQL optimization, and ORM frameworks such as SQLAlchemy or Tortoise ORM. 
•  Hands-on experience with Docker, Docker Compose, and containerized application deployment. 
•  Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, GitHub Actions or GitLab CI, and modern software development workflows. 
•  Experience working in professional software development teams comprising 15 or more members. 
•  Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills. 
•  Knowledge of software architecture principles, code quality tools, and industry best practices.
