Job Description:

• Perform fiber optic splicing for ADSS cables (indoor & outdoor). 
•  Prepare fiber ends, splice, and test cables for optimal performance. 
•  Assist in installation & maintenance of ADSS fiber networks. 
•  Ensure proper fusion splicing with low loss and minimal signal degradation. 
•  Prepare cables, clean fiber ends, and conduct end-to-end testing. 
•  Identify, troubleshoot, and repair fiber network faults. 
•  Maintain records of splicing, materials, and installation reports. 
•  Follow safety protocols during all field operations. 
•  Ensure work quality meets project standards. 
•  Coordinate with team members and report issues to the project manager.

Specification:

• Experience as a Splicer or in fiber optics maintenance. 
•  Knowledge of fiber splicing tools (fusion splicer, OTDR, power meter). 
•  Understanding of ADSS cable installation & maintenance. 
•  Ability to work outdoors and handle physical tasks. 
•  Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. 
•  Good communication and teamwork ability. 
•  Ability to read fiber optic diagrams/schematics.
• Certification in Fiber Optic Splicing. 
•  Experience in ADSS or similar outdoor fiber projects. 
•  Familiarity with fiber testing tools and processes.
