System Network Monitoring Unit Executive (SNMU)- Jawalakhel
Job Description:
  • Monitor network and system devices during the assigned night shift.
  •  Continuously monitor network performance and identify service interruptions or abnormalities. 
  •  Escalate incidents promptly to the concerned departments following established escalation procedures. 
  •  Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely resolution of network and system issues. 
  •  Maintain effective communication regarding incidents, outages, and service restoration. 
  •  Ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to maintain 99.99% network uptime. 
  •  Perform routine preventive monitoring and report potential risks before they impact services. 
  •  Record and maintain accurate logs of incidents, alerts, escalations, and resolutions. 
  •  Follow standard operating procedures and organizational guidelines while handling incidents. 
  •  Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth network operations. 


Specification:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field.
  •  Minimum 1 year of experience in network or system monitoring. 
  •  Experience in an ISP (Internet Service Provider) environment will be preferred. 
  •  Good understanding of network and system monitoring. 
  •  Knowledge of networking concepts, devices, and infrastructure. 
  •  Familiarity with Service Level Agreements (SLA) and incident management. 
  •  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  •  Excellent attention to detail. 
  •  Good interpersonal and communication skills. 
  •  Ability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams. 
  •  Strong time management and multitasking abilities. 
  •  Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices. 
  •  Ability to work under pressure and respond quickly to critical incidents. 
  •  Team-oriented with a proactive approach to monitoring and issue resolution.
