Job Description:

• Process, verify, and post client invoices accurately.
• Track and follow up on overdue payments to ensure timely collection.
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Coordinate with clients to resolve invoice and payment issues.
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of invoices as per contracts and agreements.
• Communicate with internal departments to confirm all billable items are captured accurately.
• Assist with journal entries, ledger maintenance, and other accounting functions as required.
• Support the finance team in daily activities and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients to facilitate smooth invoicing and payment collection.
• Address client concerns related to invoices and payment terms professionally and promptly.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
• Support payroll administration by ensuring accurate calculation of remuneration, taxes, and deductions.
• Maintain purchase and sales registers.

Specification:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in accounting, preferably with a focus on Accounts Receivable.
• Experience in the IT industry or similar is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good knowledge of accounting processes such as journal entries, ledger management, reconciliations, voucher maintenance, and financial statements.
• Good understanding of finance concepts such as cash flow, capital budgeting, ratio analysis, VAT, tax, TDS, etc.
