National Sales Manager-kathmandu
Job Description:
  • Develop and execute national sales strategies for healthcare and medical products to achieve revenue and market share targets.
  • Lead, manage, and mentor regional sales managers and field sales teams.
  • Identify and acquire new business opportunities, key accounts, and distribution channels.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, distributors, and key healthcare professionals.
  • Monitor sales performance, track KPIs, and provide regular reports to senior management.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and supply chain teams to implement product launches, promotions, and campaigns.
  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and monitor trends in the healthcare/medical industry.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and agreements with distributors, hospitals, and other key accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, company policies, and ethical sales practices.
  • Represent the company at industry events, medical conferences, and client meetings.
  • Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales force with clear goals and accountability frameworks.
  • Define territory plans, staffing models, and performance standards.
  • Implement regular coaching, training programs, and performance review processes for sales personnel.
  • Own strategic relationships with key retail partners including national retail chains, pharmacy networks, and institutional buyers.
  • Lead negotiations on trade terms, pricing agreements, merchandising plans, and visibility programs.
Specification:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred). 
  • Minimum 7–12 years of sales experience in FMCG, Personal Care, or Pharma industry.
  • At least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Proven track record of achieving revenue growth targets.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and scale sales operations from scratch (preferred).
  • Strong existing distributor and retail network across Nepal is highly desirable.
